Upon googling for random photos because I can’t sleep.

German medieval Hohenzollern Castle was built about a thousand years ago on top of Mount Hohenzollern, an isolated mountain 855 m (2,805 ft) above sea level about 50 kilometers (31 mi) south of Stuttgart, Germany.

Something right out of a dark, Tim Burton-y fairy tale. I must go here someday. I must.

Haiku Stairs (Stairway to Heaven) is a steel staircase of 4000 steps that ascends a ridge up from the Valley of Haiku near Kaneohe on the island Oahu, Hawaii. It was built in 1942 during World War II and was closed to the public in 1987, obviously making it illegal to be hiked at. And obviously, still, making it even more tempting to visit, yes?

I just really feel like I need to leave the Royal Sidewalk now. I think I’m ready for a greater challenge in a greater location. Yes.
