One of my aunts convinced me to watch Breaking Dawn with her.
She had very strong convincing powers that I finally gave in.
So inside the movie house, I felt like one of those people who, while watching a Harry Potter movie, kept calling Hermione Hermiley and Dumbledore Dumbeldoor (out loud, mind you). I was so ignorant about the whole story of this Twilight saga, it was pretty painful to watch. Good thing though that there were only like about eight of us inside (it makes you wonder how they keep saying that the movie is such a “box office hit”)
Anyway. About the movie. Although I was very clueless about the whole cast of vampires and werewolves and why the hell were they fighting, the story was also very easy to understand. It could be explained like this:
Get married —> Make love (a looooot) —> Have a monster baby.
Seriously. Me asking a lot of questions to keep up with the movie was already painful to watch. But the movie itself was just too painful to watch. There, I said it.

Hahahaha. And this isn’t about the fact that I’m team Harry Potter. I never saw it that way. I never was bitter about the Twilight saga because it’s competition. Since when was it ever competition to Harry Potter anyway? Hahaha. The movie Breaking Dawn Part 1 just sucked. Now that’s a fact.
It was so draggy. It was like just watching a boring coverage of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan’s wedding ceremonies. And then this coverage only gets better (at least for some, but not me noh) during the honeymoon (HAHAHA a wedding coverage including the honeymoon HAHAHA). And yeah, Jacob Black was the wedding crasher.
The only good thing about the movie is the chemistry of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The make-up and effects were also okay, but not really extraordinary. I’ve seen better. But I do like Kirsten Stewart’s dress when Bella and Edward were leaving for their honeymoon. It’s actually vintage.

And yeah, that was it.
It was very ambitious, having a part 1 to that final book of the saga. They could have inserted that whole two hours in fifteen minutes or something and then go ahead with rest of the story of book four.
What a waste of time and 170 pesos. That was all that I kept thinking when my aunt and I got outside.
Ugh, never again. But at least. Yayyy. Finally, I was able to watch at least one Twilight saga movie. Not something to be proud of but yayyy anyway.
P.S.
Sorry if I may have offended some Twilight fans. I was just being honest. :)
